![]() I usually work with young couples who are struggling to connect with one another and individuals who find themselves stuck in place. I also have expertise working with high profile/VIP individuals and go to great lengths to mitigate any exposure. I have particular experience working with professional artists, performers and other creatives. I have extensive experience working with young adults (individuals and couples) and university students. Following that time, I spent another five years in Higher Education Administration as both a development officer and as a student affairs officer. For a decade I worked in the field of marketing, brand management and design for non-profit organizations in New York City and Philadelphia. in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Eastern University in Saint Davids, PA, I received my BFA in Graphic Design from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Psychotherapist, Educator, Painter, and Curator. We will create and review goals together in each session to ensure that we are helping you move in the direction that you want. I use methods such as CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and art therapy in my sessions. I believe that when you establish a sense of safety you can then start moving forward in exploring what it means to be your authentic self, as well as challenge patterns of behaviors that have been ineffective in allowing you to live the life you want. I use an existential and humanistic approach to therapy, and pride myself on helping facilitate a safe therapeutic space for clients. ![]() I work with a variety of issues that include but are not limited to depression, anxiety, self-esteem, grief & loss, mood and personality disorders, trauma and PTSD, and have a specialty working with those with eating disorders. I completed my master’s degree of Marriage and Family Therapy and Art Therapy at Notre Dame de Namur University in 2017. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board Certified Art Therapist. I am a part-time lecturer at Rutgers University School of Social Work. In addition to psychotherapy, I also offer clinical supervision to licensed social workers in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. My practice is LGBTQIA identity affirming, social justice-oriented, and trauma-informed. I also draw from psychoanalytic training where I am a current postgraduate student at the School for Relational Psychoanalysis in Philadelphia. I have training and experience in several modalities including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experiencing (SE), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MSBR), and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. I also have extensive experience in treating survivors of interpersonal trauma including sexual assault and various forms of childhood abuse and neglect. I work with individuals across the lifespan who are dealing with a variety of concerns including stress, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues in addition to grief and loss. ![]() My goal is to create a therapeutic relationship in which you feel seen, heard, valued, and empowered to reach your goals. As a result of these experiences, we develop ways of coping in the world – some continue to serve us well and others may get in the way of us living a more fulfilling life. Oftentimes, the issues we face in the present stem from painful experiences in the past. Many people choose to enter therapy to gain a deeper understanding of themselves – their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in addition to problems in their interpersonal relationships.
